![Darby Days at the Alters : "Darby Days" began for us on June 19, 2005 when Slim and Isabel connected at an Oregon campsite early on our trip to the Canadian Rockies and the Pacific Northwest. That magical encounter with Isabel and her dad, Bruce (see photos at http://nick.smugmug.com/gallery/641355), led to an equally magical visit in September with the Darby family at their home in Napa. Now, five short months later, we were able to welcome Deana and the girls into our home for three-and-a-half sunny, fun-filled days. Regrettably, Bruce couldn't come and Marcia was sidelined with a bad cold for most of their visit. But a good time was still had by all. ![Ragged Point & Big Falls - February & April 2005 : Whatever the season, hiking is one of the very best ways to take in and enjoy the outdoors on the Central Coast! This is especially so when you can do it with like-minded folks like Joseph and Taylor (from up Cambria-way), and, Dave and Sharon from just a few blocks away here in Arroyo Grande.
These photos are of two separate outings. The first four photos (taken in early February) are of an outing with Joseph and Taylor. The rest (taken in mid-April) are of an outing with Joseph, Taylor, Dave and Sharon. The pictures show how blessed life is, with so much scenic beauty and with such wonderful friends.

AA Week In AG -- May 22-24, 2003
It was Ann Arbor week in Arroyo Grande! First, the Shaynas. Then, totally out of the blue, Ingrid and Cliff Sheldon. And then, Nancy and Phil Margolis. Bang! Bang! Bang! A wonderfully memorable week.
